The composer was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and opened up about his condition earlier this year.
Speaking to RSVP Live, Frank said it was important for him to be open and honest about his cancer diagnosis. “It’s not that they're not concerned but they avoid you because they don’t know what to say and I think that’s awful. Frank noticed that when he would bump into people or talk to them about cancer, many would say the wrong thing.
He shared that this was one of the reasons he has been so open about his diagnosis as he explained it is a big deal but it’s something you have to deal with.“I’m feeling fantastic. A little bit tired but I had an eight centimetre tumour in my body that was bigger than a tennis ball. He said he’s delighted that the results came back to show that there is currently no evidence of cancer in the cells taken as chemotherapy is a success in less than 7% of cases similar to his.
