The Lord Mayor of Dublin Hazel Chu said she will ask the OPW about this fencing, along with asking about extending the park’s opening hours.

Not the bandstand in the photo, try getting your facts right

Lake/summer house (in photo!)/Dublin Metropolitan Police (DMP) bandstand (not in photo!) could serve as a nice catering franchise tearooms/cafés resp. With gazebos as take-away coffee kiosks. OPW are sitting on goldmine. Solve problem of malicious damage.

Ah lads, thats not the bandstand.

The OPW is no better than the Dublin city council, this is Monday morning and they sit around. More police, more refuge collection, more toilets would stop this, stop blaming people and take responsibility for the failures. Outdoor summer they said, yet this.

Is it an electric one?

Anti peasant wire, its called.

OPW closes off bandstand in Dublin's St Stephen's GreenThe Office of Public Works has said it has decided to close the 'historic' bandstand in Dublin city's St Stephen's Green to protect it from 'any further damage'. In fairness they were swinging out of the fucking thing and sitting on the beams.
