Fair City's Jacinta suffers panic at home as it becomes clear she's been abused

Gar Boyle is concerned when he sees his mother Jacinta kowtowing to Fergal and advises her to stand up to him on Fair City.Following that, a conniving Jacinta, played by Deirdre Donnelly, spots an opportunity to free herself from Fergal. When Fergal shows up at Gar’s door, Jacinta feigns a panic attack.Despite Fergal’s protests, Gar warns him not to lay a finger on Jacinta again. Gar encourages Jacinta to kick Fergal out of their house, but he refuses to leave.

Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Orla Molloy, played by Sorcha Furlong, thrives at the garage, but Dolores gets word from Pete Ferguson that he is returning to work after his recent illness. Dolores breaks the news of Pete’s return to Orla, who ponders her employment future. Jess Mullen tries to hide her dismay when Steo applies for a job locally to be near her and baby Taylor. Jess then decides that she wants to put Greg's name down on the birth cert, not Steo's.

Nora’s comments about Rafferty’s prior dodgy dealings give Liam renewed hope for the café. While reviewing Rafferty’s recent planning permission, Liam notices that the same councillor – Brian Goode – has approved all his sites, and he smells a rat.
