Several England players including Danny Rose complained of hearing racist chants during their side's 5-1 win on Monday night

Football Association chiefs have issued a statement condemning the racist abuse suffered by England players in Montenegro on Monday night.

Montenegro could now be hit with a £45,000 fine and potential stadium closure and the FA have called the behaviour “unacceptable.” "This is unacceptable at any level of the game and we welcome UEFA’s decision today to take disciplinary action. "The issues we saw last night are not isolated to any specific country, and despite progress English football still has its own incidents of discrimination.
