14,500 Ukrainian children enrolled in Irish schoolsAround 14,500 Ukrainian children are now enrolled in Irish schools, the Oireachtas Education Committee has heard. Pretty cool, hope they are enjoying the establishment education 80,000 - 14,500 = 65,500 adults. Assuming 50% of those adults are men that means roughly 32,750 Ukrainian men fled Ukraine like cowards instead of fighting for their country. If my estimates are incorrect please provide the real figures for Ukrainian male adult refugees. They need 10 times attention from the teachers so our own kids are missing school time

Longer drinking hours could harm public health, committee warnedAn extension of drinking hours later into the night could be harmful to public health and safety, stakeholders have told TDs Harmful to public health in ireland of course caus we're such a pack of gowls wen it comes to liquor...not a problem in other countries where they hav all night openings practically... Let me recap: The government recently increased the price of alcohol so people wouldn’t drink so much, but now they’ve increased opening hours so people can drink more? Right I think I’ve got it! Bars would have to increase wages for those on the later hours significantly, extra bouncers. Most venues wouldn't be able to find staff to work that late. Insurers would jack up premiums. You'd be paying 20€ a pint just to get close to meet c.o.b. Not sure how it wed work out.

Households to get €50 refunds for being overcharged on ESB bills dating back to 2009Provider incorrectly applied subvention to support large energy consumers, Oireachtas committee told Oh no. I’m afraid the days of throwing buttons at the peasants to keep them quiet are long gone. How much per year did households pay and for how many years. Add on the inflation rate on top of this and then you’ll be treating people with respect and dignity. 50 quid for 14 years of overcharging? WTF 50 euros, I'll book my holidays so.
