Irish tourists travelling abroad after February 1st can travel anywhere in the EU with proof of vaccination, recovery from Covid-19, or a negative test.
This means that anyone meeting the listed criteria above will not face any extra measures when travelling abroad, such as self-isolation or additional testing. Ahead of the meeting, European Affairs Secretary for France Clément Beaune said the change in rules would take into account a traveller's individual situation and limit the amount of restrictions for travel in Europe as much as possible.
