Eileen Magnier is retiring early after 34 years as North West Correspondent

Eileen Magnier has announced that she is retiring early from RTE after 34 years as their North West Correspondent.

In her retirement announcement, Eileen thanked her co-workers and those who have spoken to her over the years. A second commenter wrote: “Eileen, you will be sorely missed a true professional in every way. Enjoy ticking off that bucket list!” A fourth person commented: “Congrats on your retirement Eileen and thank you for your excellent coverage on the NW for many many years always balanced and objective enjoy you retirement ”.
