EastEnders new episode spoilers: Chantelle's escape bid, Stacey's return and deadly secret

EastEnders fans learned this week that a return date had been confirmed for the BBC soap, which went off air in June due to the coronavirus.

But she has no idea her childhood friend was involved in the death of her teenage son Dennis back in February, during the boat crash. As the soap returns next month, Dotty decides it's time to spill the beans and for Sharon to hear the truth... Lacey was spotted arriving at the soap set when filming recommenced, while Stacey hasn't been back since she fled after leaving Phil Mitchell for dead.

Ruby Allen and Martin Fowler for romance - but there's a discovery EastEnders has confirmed love certainly blossomed for the pair during lockdown. That could be the least of Ruby's worries though, when she learns money has been going missing from her bank account.
