Sifee Dine Boudissa (26) died when his e-scooter collided with car outside Dundalk on Saturday night

Mr Boudissa was staying at the Carnbeg Hotel Direct Provision Centre in Dundalk. The Department said it is trying to contact his next of kin and assistance will be provided to them and any residents affected by his death.

Gardaí and emergency services attended but Mr Boudissa was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Dundalk Garda station on 042 938 8400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.An elderly pedestrian suffered serious injuries following an incident on Eccles Street, north Dublin city on June 23rd.
