The Port Heritage Director at Dublin Port Company has said efforts are under way to establish a distributed museum network that will open up the port to the capital.Speaking on RTÉ's Morning Ireland, he encouraged members of the public to come down and see the Port.

It's Ireland's smallest museum and details the building of the North Walls and East Quays," he said.
"It is great to see Dublin Port Company leading the way in this field, and there is great potential for other semi-state bodies to follow suit."Mr Joye said it includes an active oral history of the dock. "We would love to talk to anyone in the area who would be interested in talking to our historians," he added.
