The seizure was carried out after parcels were examined during routine operations at two premises in Dublin.
The seized drugs include 18kgs of herbal cannabis, small quantities of butane honey oil, cannabis resin, MDMA, ecstasy tablets, cocaine and synthetic cannabinoids. Revenue says that the drugs were in parcels labelled as 'tuxedos', 'tea', 'board games', 'jeans', 'car organisers' and 'pet blanket'. The parcels, which were to be delivered to addresses across the country, originated in the UK, Europe and north America.The drugs, which originated in Spain, were worth an estimated €80,000.
