A dog was saved in the UK from drowning with the help of a drone with a sausage attached.Three-year-old jack russell Millie's adventure started last Thursday after she slipped her lead in Hampshire, Denmead Drone Search and Rescue wrote on Facebook. She was then spotted on mudflats, before two days later finding herself in an area of the coast where she would be engulfed by rising tides if not moved.
Having to think fast, a Denmead Drone Search and Rescue drone pilot suggested attaching food to a drone to try and lure Millie out of the danger area. They managed to lure her 300 metres over into a safety zone preventing her from possibly drowning. However, Denmead Drone Search and Rescue still had difficulty securing the dog who eventually left the coastal area.
She was later spotted two days later walking around the area of an industrial site, before being secured by her owner's father."Lots of TLC, and rest only thing prescribed," Denmead Drone Search and Rescue said in a statement.
