Driver 'more than a little surprised' after breaking law right beside Garda

The force have many vehicles available to them, from your standard Garda car to some of the higher-tech vans.

The motorist was on their way down High Street in Kilkenny town on Wednesday evening, flicking through their phone. A spokesperson explained: "Gardai in Kilkenny have all their vehicles out this evening, including the push bike. A little chilly but effective for patrol of Kilkenny city's streets and lane ways, the bike has it's merits.
