A care home in Britain's south west has started a drive-through visiting system for the families of its elderly residents | More:

Under coronavirus lockdown regulations, visits to care homes across the country have been barred in an attempt to protect the vulnerable occupants.

That is so sad 😞. I’d hate to be wheeled out for everyone to gawk at. Whoever thought this is a good idea? There must be better ways. What about when it’s Irish weather. This seems it’s done for show. ☹️

Our ' new normal ' is very ZOO like .Found this very sad 💔💔

Good idea, maybe simon harris and the hse could set something like this up here... oh wait they dont talk to the care homes and ignore them, so never mind.

Horrific

What a crap society we have built where we are forced to cart our parents of to care homes due to our lifelong work commitments preventing us from taking them in.

They’ll also let you check your eyesight.

This is everything ❤️
