Doomsday scenario of no-deal Brexit chaos moves closer ahead of critical UK vote

The doomsday scenario of Britain crashing out of the EU without a deal amid massive economic and social chaos is looking more likely today.

The Attorney’s legal advice deals a significant blow to Mrs May’s hopes of securing MPs’ backing for her EU Withdrawal Agreement.

The Prime Minister needs to win over scores of Tory MPs if she is to have any hope of reversing the 230-vote defeat she suffered when the Commons considered her Brexit deal in January.
