'Today my heart will beat for the 4 of us.'

Donegal woman Geraldine Mullan, who tragically lost her family in a road accident, has paid a heartbreaking tribute to them on the two-year anniversary of their deaths.

The 'Field of Hope' opened to the public yesterday on the shores of Lough Foyle, near the scene where Geraldine lost her family.Speaking in a live video at the opening, Letterkenny native Geraldine shared a touching tribute to her family."There are moments that are very tough. In those moments I just breathe and I think about the precious memories that I had with John, Tomás and Amelia.

Speaking to RSVP while accepting her prize at the Mullan HOPE Centre back in June, Geraldine opened up about her life-changing loss. “The love and support that I’ve got from my town here have enabled me to keep going and to remember my beloved John, Tomas and Amelia.
