DONAL Burke reckons a victory in Sunday’s crunch Leinster round robin opener at Wexford Park would give Dublin huge confidence and momentum.
“The first game is what you're always chasing. If we can get a good win there, it gives you huge confidence and momentum going forward.“You always want to start your Championship off right or you'll end up chasing. “But you don't really have much time to ponder them. We have Wexford coming up and it'll be a very tough battle.“Other teams were probably just a bit more up to the pace than we were. We kind of got to grips with it towards the end of the League but it was a bit too late then when other teams had momentum.
