Smartphones should automatically take on the change, but mechanical clocks and watches will need to be put back one hour at that time.The clocks will then go forward again and we’ll go back into GMT+1.There has been some debate in the EU about whether to scrap Daylight Savings Time. What happens when the EU scrap daylight saving and those of us up north are sent to a different time zone post Brexit. Set your clock to 1690 at the border. Who wants an extra hour of 2020? This was done back in the 60s. I remember going to school in the dark. Roads a lot safer then. The biggest worry though was that the cows might be confused for milking.
