Radio star Doireann Garrihy has confirmed her hit podcast will be performed in front of a live audience.
Doireann, who just hosted last Friday’s Platinum VIP Style Awards, confirmed: “I’m working on a live show at the moment. I’m not sure when it’ll happen or where it will happen, but I know what I want it to be.“Obviously, I stalled the ball a bit because of Covid. I didn’t know what was going to happen with live events but now that I’m between seasons I have a bit more time so I’m plotting and planning.
“Not necessarily, like I had Joanne McNally in my very first season, which was over three years ago and I think she would be amazing as a live guest and obviously so much has happened for her in the past couple of years – I wouldn’t rule out getting people back, definitely not.And Doireann said she is continuing to enjoy the early mornings with duo Carl Mullan and Donncha O’Callaghan on 2FM Breakfast – but does always worry about the show’s ratings.
“Yeah , if you say they don’t bother you… I definitely personally it does bother me and I want them to be good of course I do.
