Deputy leader Nigel Dodds warned the mooted plan - reportedly being discussed by EU and UK officials in Brussels - "cannot work".
However Mr Dodds - whose party's votes will almost certainly be needed to get a Brexit deal through parliament - told the Italian La Repubblica newspaper that Northern Ireland "must stay in a full UK customs union, full stop".He added: "There is a lot of stuff coming from Brussels, pushed by the Europeans in the last hours, but one thing is sure: Northern Ireland must remain fully part of the UK customs union. And Boris Johnson knows it very well.
Speaking during a school visit yesterday, Mr Johnson repeatedly refused to say whether he had offered any concessions on the issue of the customs union.
Down with the DUP .
Bigots DUP and SF are hate parties. NI is always talked about as an object and not the people who make NI. Give the people a vote on their future and stop using the people of NI as a pawn in an ideological war deeprooted in hate and revenge.

10DowningStreet may want to keep in mind plans for tactical voting in NI at the next GE to put an end to the DUP having so many MPs when they do not represent the majority of people. Dodd's seat is vulnerable. So think twice before giving the duponline such overblown power.

The DUP are irrelevant, so why even give them the kilobytes! Johnson lost his majority a long time ago so their 10 votes mean nothing. If this ‘deal’ is the only show in town to stop a No Deal, it will get the backing of the House of Commons.
