EXCLUSIVE: Dimitar Berbatov is delighted with the start Bruno Fernandes has made and the way he and Paul Pogba are getting the best out of each other at Old Trafford

Paul Pogba is smiling again at Manchester United - and Bruno Fernandes has played a big part in his restored happiness.

Pogba had been linked with a transfer away from United in the summer but Berbatov believes Fernandes' arrival has breathed new life into the Frenchman.Berbatov told Mirror Football: "Even before people ask me, I believe that Pogba will stay. "With him, Bruno Fernandes, [Nemanja] Matic, who was excellent against Brighton, [Scott] McTominay, a great talent for the future, and [Mason] Greenwood, who, against Brighton, was like Ronaldo - his left foot is unbelievable along with his vision, I don't think many signings are needed to take United to that next level.
