Green Party leader Eamon Ryan has said the Government will decide 'in the next few weeks' whether or not to extend electricity credits into next winter.

Green Party leader Eamon Ryan has said the Government will decide"in the next few weeks" whether or not to extend electricity credits into next winter.

He said lowering the credits is"less likely" and that if they were to be continued, they would likely be continued as they are. "We waited until October and we really went at it big then with social welfare increases as well as credits. I think we should stick with the approach that worked." He said he believes every political viewpoint must be part of this change and they will work with all parties to make it happen.

People don't need credit but fair energy prices. Carbon footprint doesn't affect climate, stop with net zero nonsense and carbon taxes.

What about covering up theft from the elderly? Don't suppose they let you in on it though, not really one of them, more a vacant mudguard.

How,did we end up here . I despair!

The people will decide the greens future in next election.

Go back to selling bikes you’re useless and have a passionate hatred for the working class

Well since we are subsidising big businesses EamonRyan ,yeah they should, heard us sign up with the spinners too, ul do anything to hang around and ruin the country more, resign and take rodericogorman with u.

This clown want us to go eco, stop burning fossil fuels etc. ot a heat pump installed to contribute to improving our society. Just got my esb bill for last 2 months and with the huge increased in electricity rates my bill has doubled to €2400. And this clown is cutting credits

Where is the money going to come from for these credits? What tax is going to be raised or introduced to pay for this? EamonRyan has no clue what he's doing. His polices have the Irish people in this position in the first place.

This Eamon Ryan?

In the UK, but I am sure we are similarly also being blatantly ripped off in Ireland.

Any credit needs to be targeted in order to help people or families struggling, A politician with over 100 thousand euros a year wage for example does not need this credit.

What about the price of natural gas ...Wholesale price down to Sept 2021 level...No reduction in retail price. ..Electricity price is pegged to wholesale price of gas.

The cost of living crisis is fed by successive gov policies. Irish society is more economically divided than it has been in many, many years. Without a change of govt, that division will keep growing.

What about mortgages interests rates are going through the roof how the he’ll do you expect people to keep paying & paying a storm is coming …

Just stop. please.

That's nice of them. What about fuel then.

Does anybody want to share power with the Greens?! Hopefully they won't be re-elected

Price Gouging being financed by the Gombeen Irish Gov. Better our politicians have the power, oil & gas suppliers audited to establish where their costs have risen? Electric and Gas Wholesalers should be banned PearseDoherty

Enemy of the people

Have some balls and morals, and pull the plug on this government that are riddled with corruption.
