Death toll rises to 20 after Delhi riots during Trump trip

Image: PA Images Image: PA Images AT LEAST 20 people were killed in three days of clashes in New Delhi apparently sparked by US president Donald Trump’s first state visit to India.

Police characterised the situation as tense but under control. Schools remained closed, and a ban on assembly continues. Others came to the hospital with gunshot or stab wounds, injuries incurred from jumping from heights and head injuries.Trump told reporters yesterday that he had heard about the violence, but had not discussed it with Modi.

Maybe if people riot, it might explain why a country doesn't want to give them citizenship? How else do they behave that discouraged India from granting them citizenship. Riots have been occurring since before Trump's visit.

Terribly misleading journalism. These riots have been ongoing since last December. They have nothing whatsoever to do with Trump. Gotta get those clicks I guess.
