Daniel O’Donnell has promised to join Charlie Bird and other famous faces to climb Croagh Patrick next year.

The former RTE news correspondent, 72, candidly discussed his recent diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease and revealed his ambition to climb Croagh Patrick while he still can. Daniel will be the latest star to join the group who plan to climb the mountain in Co Mayo, along with RTE Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy as well as Cervical Cancer campaigner Vicky Phelan.
