Dad and two sons killed in horror Cork shooting incident named locally

A community has been left in shock after three men were found dead in a horror shooting incident in Co Cork.

When they arrived on the scene, they were told that more gunshots had been heard, and initiated its Critical Firearms incident response. Armed Support Unit members who had travelled from Dublin made their entry into the farmhouse shortly after 12.30pm and discovered the body of the younger brother in his bedroom.

The Garda Critical Incident response was stood down and both the home and adjoining land were declared as crime scenes. It is believed that a major dispute blew up in the family recently over a will relating to a large parcel of land.
