The talented athlete will be laid to rest tomorrow

Thousands of people gathered in Athenry on Wednesday evening in memory of Galway camogie player Kate Moran, who died after she was injured during a match on Monday.

Emergency services treated her at the scene following an incident before she was taken to University Hospital Galway.She sadly passed away on Tuesday morning. "People just can't come to terms with it, that we'd lose a beautiful young girl that'd be 21 in a few weeks time," he said.''We're all devastated, absolutely devastated. Kate was such a beautiful young girl and a wonderful talent.
