We need to stop all non-essential travel and social intercourse to put the brakes on the spread. Just closing schools isn't enough. The personal hygiene I've seen so far has been terrifying to say the least 😷🤧😬

RTE you guys seem to forget something that has been skipped. Our government has not told anyone to stay home. We have taken it upon ourselves. Our government did not ask anyone to close down their pubs until it became apparent owners were doing it themselves to be responsible.

We Irish are our own worst enemy..stripping shelves in supermarkets, getting pissed in pubs, spreading rumors and malice...then coming out scratching our heads as to why things are worse than they should be..

Have seen a lot of people on Twitter chastising other folk for still using public transport. Some people in essential / frontline services HAVE to use public transport to get to work. Don't make their lives more difficult or cause them undue anxiety. It's not fair.
