Tánaiste Simon Coveney has launched a scathing attack on young people who are ignoring social distancing recommendations and called on members of the public to confront individuals who are not taking Covid-19 seriously.
Mr Coveney warned that the global figures were stark and he said it was not possible to state how serious Covid-19 is.He said people across the county needed to heed the advice of health authorities including washing hands and staying apart. He said this was about protecting the lives of people who are vulnerable to this virus.

I think its not the job of the public to confront thosr who are not adhering to social distancing, its the guards job to do it it, otherwise we could be told to f*ck off and mind our own business
