Cost of renting in Ireland continues to soar as campaigners slam Government

Runaway rents are a "recipe for a worsening crisis", a leading housing charity said today following the release of a damning report.

John Mark McCafferty, CEO of Threshold, said that this increase will see more and more people becoming homeless. And calls have been made for an emergency rent freeze by People Before Profit, and for Minisiter Eoghan Murphy to accept the failure of the current policy.
