A coronavirus survivor has urged people who catch the virus not to panic, saying that for the majority the experience will be "not pleasant, but survivable".
“The aches started a day or two afterwards and it really hurt. It was in my hands and arms and feet - my calves were horrendous. “I was taking paracetamol, which did help. Thankfully I didn’t take Nurofen which is usually my go to. Louise added: “111 needs to change. It’s too rigid in its approach, especially as I’ve read the virus affects people in different ways.
Louise said she believes that people are being whipped up in a “frenzy” over an illness that will likely not kill you if you do not fit into a high risk group."We know who the high risk groups are and they need to be kept safe. “You don’t know people’s mental health problems. If they live by themselves, they’re isolated and their only link to the outside world is social media and the news, then God forbid there might be a rise in suicide.
