Coronation Street's most harrowing episodes ever as Sinead Tinker dies in darkly realistic scenes

Sinead Tinker will die next week in some of Coronation Street's most harrowing scenes ever after a long struggle with cervical cancer.

Throughout the two episodes, lasting an hour and a half in total, viewers will watch Sinead struggle with the pain as husband Daniel tries his best to stay strong for her and comfort his wife. He then added: "So yeah, it was a conscious decision not to fast forward that. I also feel like after you've told a story for two years, 18 months, it would be remiss to gallop through the end, actually.Sinead manages to forgive Daniel after discovering he kissed Bethany and hugs him tight in bed as they consider their lost future, telling him that she would have liked to have had four boys with him and live in a thatched cottage.

Realising that she is in her last hours, Sinead asks her family to leave and return in the morning - knowing that she won't see them again. "He has to now unpick all of that and take all the meaning and the messages from what she was saying to him and actually apply them.
