Conor McGregor has been told by UFC fans that he is wrong to expect a title shot on his return to the octagon.
McGregor also slammed Poirier for his "embarrassing" performance whilst replying to Nate Diaz on Twitter and labelled his "closed guard" game in the second round as "shocking". It didn't take long for the undisputed champion to reply to McGregor's request, writing: "What do you think about this weekend? I'm ready, I'm still in town, and there's an upcoming event. Let's go baby."
Someone else tweeted: "A fighter with a record of 1 win & 3 losses in the @ufc in the last 5 years deserves shot at the Title? Lol Riiiiiiggghht ok that makes perfect sense!!!"One comment read: "You will KO him in 10 seconds sir."
