The Dubliner was arrested and charged with strong-arm robbery and criminal mischief on Miami Beach.
The Irishman allegedly grabbed a fan's mobile phone before stamping on it and taking it away, reports the Mirror.The incident allegedly took place outside the Fontainebleau Hotel just after 5am on March 11. McGregor was later arrested at the $6million villa he is renting with his family after they flew to Miami to celebrate his mum Margaret's 60th birthday.McGregor later said on Instagram : "Patience in this world is a virtue I continue to work on. I love my fans dearly. Thank you all."
Only last week McGregor completed his community service punishment for throwing a trolley at a bus in New York last April.McGregor will be eligable to fight again next month following his six-month ban for his part in the riot which followed his defeat by Khabib Nurmagomedov last October. Donald Cerrone claims McGregor has rejected the change to fight him on two occasions; in April because he wasn't ready and in July because he was told the fight would not be the main event.
