You might think you are nourishing your skin with the correct ingredients or using enough SPF, but according to recent research a lot of us are making the same mistakes

When it comes to skincare, everyone has their own individual routines and favourite products tailored to their skin needs.

Here are the most common skincare mistakes that could actually be doing your skin more harm than good - and what you actually need to do about it. Sleeping with makeup on In recent years, the importance of removing every trace of makeup from our skin through cleansing, toning and moisturising has been hammered home by beauty experts. But one in five people surveyed by Beauty Pie admit they often don’t wash their makeup off before they go to bed. One in three say they sometimes don't wash their hands before applying skincare products and 14% apply fake tan straight after exfoliating.

Best Before Blunders Unfortunately skincare products don't last forever and have expiry dates on them. Once a product has expired, it could be less effective and could cause adverse skin reactions.
