Comedian Matt Richardson needed to attend hospital this week after getting an infection affecting his brain. He has no recollection of attending Green Day in Marlay Park with his brother.

British comedian Matt Richardson has said he was hospitalised with an odd 'infection' affecting his brain and has no recollection of attending the Green Day gig in Dublin with his brother.READ MORE: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star asks for help during trip to Ireland after airport nightmare

The 31-year-old said: “My brother and I went to see Green Day in Dublin last week. And I sadly can’t remember it as I’ve had a lovely infection which caused some wonderful effects to my brain and loads of amnesia.“ Last year Matt competed and starred on Dancing On Ice, and previously presented ITV2 X Factor spin-off show The Xtra Factor when he replaced Olly Murs and presented alongside the late Caroline Flack in 2013.
