We're our unionist friends invited to attend as a sign of inclusiveness, to reciprocate unionist previous invite?

Piggy backing on the shoulders off others

An Irish state that wants to honour Michael Collins as a national hero cannot reasonably aspire to also represent the Unionist tradition in Ireland, upon which Collins unleashed a brutal sectarian war before his death. Until this changes Ireland will need to be two not one.

I notice not a word about Robert Troy on RTE if it was someone from another party it would be on breaking news 24/7. Shameful.

RTE did not allow the boos to be heard of course, their political masters must not be shown in a bad light

The booing was epic. Well done everyone for showing our absolute hatred for our present government. 👏👏👏👏👏

Now that FF has been taken over by FG does Mr Martin agree the term 'Fianna Fail the Republican Party' is an obsolete oxymoron?

Ireland's little gombeen version of the Lincoln Project alliance of arch-traitors.

Varadkar claiming civil war politics only ended with their historic coalition at Collins memorial. What a self serving Cnut

Hypocrites, liars and criminals, how dare they show their faces at Michael Collins grave as they continue to destroy everything he fought for and died for ?

2 fking traitors to this country.. Collins would be appalled to see what they have done in the last 3 years

He got booed off the stage and you didn’t show it

government propaganda channel 👇👇👇

The boos spoke volumes. Get these liars out if office. They have destroyed our country, Collins would have done more than booed.

Scum

Masquerading and hijacking our history makes me fucking sick

Any update on the soldier who k.o’d during MM’s speech?

So are they now 1 party?

He do anything to keep sinn fein out of power

Remembering a sad part of our history. We commerate and remember a lost leader.

Imagine if he could see the money grabbing wasters MichealMartinTD & black & tan worshipper LeoVaradkar & out of touch EamonRyan stand there talking shit. He'd shoot them himself without hesitation

Couldnt have picked a more mighty gabshyte to honour him either, well I suppose Leos on par with thon wet flannel of a human being.

Hang out your brightest colours, A terrible beauty is born.

MichealMartinTD LeoVaradkar simoncoveney Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney are BOOED at the Michael Collins centenary commemoration... 🫣 'Let there be no doubt about where Ireland stands. We want nothing to do with a backward-looking idea of sovereignty.'

Rte, Ireland's very own Russia today. You forgot to mention the boos and heckles

So when is the full amalgamation of fiannafailparty FineGael because they are one in same thing Both chancers the two of them

Why did you not highlight that the crowd booed them when they went to the podium. Because the real people of Ireland are done with Government. They don’t represent the people of this country anymore.

À terrible beauty is born.

Honestly they might have well paraded in like this What this show was all about is what we have we hold FF/FG

And their words rang hollow as all their predecessers. Charlatans. Must be reading duponline playbook. No spin doctor could help these 2 chancers

Boo MichealMartinTD LeoVaradkar

‘Michael Collins’ life was Ireland, his legacy is Ireland too,’ 100th anniversary commemoration hearsTaoiseach and Tánaiste mark death of Michael Collins with speeches at Béal na Bláth Very impressed with the speech of the Taoiseach. What would have happened if Collins lived? That we can only imagine. But for those who blamed him for partition, remember De Valera went on to live a long life, became Taoiseach and President, and did nothing to end partition. Fine speech from An Taoiseach.

Thousands in Béal na Bláth for Collins commemorationThousands of people are gathering at Béal na Bláth in Co Cork to commemorate the centenary of the death of Michael Collins in an ambush. So you can report how tory boy Leo uses a commemoration to take a pop at SF again. No thanks. Hijacked by blueshirts. They'd have more business commemorating Eoin Ó Duffy, Oliver Flanagan and the black & tans. What time is Mary Lou talking? or is this just a FFFGG gig?
