Taking inspiration from the classics is something all industries do - but would a cleanser based on a 2000 year old recipe take your fancy?
Lush might be known for it's super scented bath bombs and long-lasting perfumes, but their Ultrabland cleanser has hoards of fans who swear by the ancient formula.Based on the recipe of the original 'cold cream' created for the first time by Ancient Greek physician Galen, this cleanser prides itself on being stripped back to basics.
Another added: "It's the ONLY facial cleanser I use. I put it into damp skin and wash of with a hot wash cloth. If I need to I apply moisturiser, but ultra bland is very moisturising . It's the only cleanser I've used in years that doesn't leave my skin dry and greasy."
