Ciara Phelan: Cuffing season is in full swing, and everyone needs some intimacy

Tis’ the season for desperate single people swiping frantically on Tinder to find a temporary partner to couple up with but just for three months.

While Grafton St and every other part of the city is polluted with affectionate couples strolling hand in hand under the sparkling Christmas lights, I can see why some people feel a little lonely and isolated. That’s if everyone’s needs are met. A lot of cuffing partners are found on dating apps like Tinder and Bumble and both apps are hopping at the minute.

And Jason isn’t the only one, not only were men being totally honest on the dating apps but my number of matches increased. So if both are willing to re-evaluate your hook-ups in March then I think cuffing season is a perfect solution to killing the boredom and loneliness.
