Chemotherapy treatments were down 12% in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Irish Medical Organisation has said

Image: Shutterstock Image: Shutterstock CHEMOTHERAPY TREATMENTS DROPPED by 12% last year due to the pandemic, the Oireachtas Health Committee heard today.

He said that in September 2020 only 60% of new patients attending rapid access breast, lung and prostate clinics were seen within the recommended time frame. “The earlier that cancer is detected the better the outcome. GPs are open and are seeing patients, and they can refer individuals for the appropriate diagnostic services if required”, he said.

And 90 to 99% of “Covid Deaths” had serious underlying conditions and were literally dying in 2020 anyway, as is evidenced by minimal excess deaths in 2020 and almost none at all between Oct19 and Oct20. Despite not having healthcare services in the country for the year!
