Emma Hayes called out the concerning lack of female managers in the Women's Super League and believes her exit could see the decline exacerbated

Chelsea boss Emma Hayes believes women's football in England is "getting a little nasty" and hopes that the online banter culture seeping into the physical game will change with regulations.

Throughout her tenure, Hayes has often served as women's football's guiding hands and in her final press conference on Friday, she took the opportunity to voice her concerns of the direction the game is taking. Hayes also voiced her concern over the potential decline of female coaches in the WSL. Hayes is joined in departing the head coach position by Aston Villa's Carla Ward, who announced she would leave the club after hosting title contenders Manchester City on Saturday.
