Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White has shrugged off his former ‘enfant terrible’ reputation admitting he was “very naughty”.
Marco told how a row with a customer over a plate of cheese led him to tell the man to “f*** off” and get out of his restaurant. He explained: “When I was 25 I opened my first restaurant and that’s why they came up with the ‘enfant terrible’ title. “He said, ‘Well I don’t like three of them’. “So I turned around and said ‘Four of them should be a sufficient portion sir’. “He said it again, ‘Well I always choose my own cheese’. I said, ‘I’m sorry we don’t do that here.’
