However, the dad's attorney's argue that his son actually died from pneumonia. Corey died just hours after he suffered a seizure while staff tried to administer a CT scan. Attempts to save his life by hospital staff were sadly unsuccessful.
It is unclear when Gregor and Corey's mother Breanna Micciolo - who testified at his trial this week - first met, however he was reportedly not in the boy's life until he reached five-years-old. The day before Corey died, Micciolo said that a judge denied her request for full custody.
