A Cavan man has brilliantly trolled Dublin fans ahead of this evening's All-Ireland semi-final by placing a Breffni flag on top of a crane in the capital.Sharing a picture of his work on Facebook, he said: "Cavan flag flying high over Dublin City."Another commented: "I hope it’s still flying Monday."
Someone else said: "It's the poor fecker that has to do the climb of shame on the Monday morning to take it back down I feel sorry for. Up the dubs." Cavan were crowned Ulser champions for the first time in 23 years after beating Donegal last month, but face a massive challenge at Croke Park this evening against the six-in-a-row seeking Dubs.
Dessie Farrell's side hammered Meath by 3-21 to 0-09 to claim their tenth consecutive Leinster title two weeks ago and are as short 100/1 on with the bookies to beat Cavan. The Irish Mirror's GAA columnist and two-time All-Ireland winner Bernard Flynn believes Mickey Graham's side will be doing well to lose by less than 10 points. You can read his column here.
