Researchers have found that Ireland's carbon footprint is much bigger when emissions for goods we consume are included

Internationally agreed carbon budgets are based on how much a country produces. Under this measurement, Ireland's greenhouse gas emissions come to 61 megatonnes of CO2.

This includes 69 megatonnes which were emitted in the production of goods imported to Ireland and excludes 24 megatonnes which are the net emissions of goods exported. She gave the example of toys, which can sometimes be cast aside after a few weeks or can be handed down from one generation to the other.

Fake news

Bit like the lies that 'Ireland is warming ip faster than any other place on the planet' ...which was told to every other place too.

Ah, the Guilt and the Shame .. the bony Finger of accusation pointing right atcha ! - Tomorrow the Fear angle .

More bullsh1t. Irelands contribution to global warming from carbon emissions is 0.003%. In other words it’s more of a tax revenue benefit for government than a serious problem to global warming. Better the Green Party went after the big polluters like China,USA and Germany

But we are responsible for the beef others consume? Help me make it make sense!!!

Are the expert reachers 🤡🤡🤡

You will own nothing & be happy should solve this.

'The WEF/Schwab would like to thank RTE for their compliance in pushing our agenda on an already battered people. Given our plans to replace them, combined with their utterly broken spirit, we anticipate/see no resistance to the continuation of our plans.'

'What I personally always do' anyone who lectures with self-praise should be sacked on the spot, another numpty paid from the magic money tree.

Researchers have found that Ireland's carbon footprint is much bigger when Eamonn Ryan is awake.

EamonRyan just came all over his laptop reading this 💦

We are on an island... goods can't swim to our shores now can they

We should stop producing and stop consuming, it’s simple really

Some consumption is unavoidable but there are plenty of opportunities for circular economies where it it can be reduced as well as waste and pollution.

Ireland. So evil. Must go back to living in caves and eating snails. Our evil ways must be dealt with.

EU are doing well and Sweden.....

Much bigger emissions from eating cheese and onion Tayto's and drinking Guinness.

Tiny weeney little Eire? I doubt it.

More tax, that should sort it.
