Cameron Diaz is coming out of retirement for a new Netflix action-comedy

Foxx worked with the four-time Golden Globe nominee on her last feature film before retiring, 'Annie'. The two also worked together on 1999's 'Any Given Sunday'.

Production on the film will get underway later this year. Plot details are still being kept under wraps. Seth Gorden will direct. Gorden also wrote the script alongside Brendan O'Brien . Foxx is executive producing the film with Datari Turner, O’Brien and Mark McNair. Producers are Beau Bauman for Good One Productions and Gordon via Exhibit A.earlier this year and talked about her break from acting.

"Personally for myself, looking at what came along with my position in Hollywood, I kind of maxed out. I feel like I did it all, but I haven’t done this thing which is what I’m doing now."
