Opposition parties have called on the Chairman of Fáilte Ireland to step down after it emerged he travelled to Italy on holiday.
Labour Senator Mark Wall, the party's spokesperson on tourism, also said Mr Cawley's position is untenable. He told the newspaper that he went on the holiday ,which was arranged by his family some months ago, because he did not want to disappoint them.
