The cabinet has signed off on a deal to postpone the delivery of millions of Covid-19 vaccines this year to avoid widespread wastage.

There has been a steep drop in public demand for Covid-19 vaccines as a result, with booster vaccines being reserved for older people and people with compromised immune systems.
