It's understood that there are no current plans to move from the Broadstone depot any time soon, but Bus Éireann is looking at potential sites that may work in the future.

Any move would be pursued to accommodate an expected increase in demand for its services in the coming decades and to help the company reach its climate change targets. In the notice of tender, the company said it requires a “study to be carried out to determine whether a proposed move of the Broadstone depot and related offices and services to another location is feasible”.
