Bryan first joined the national broadcaster in 1987, since then he has presented some of the station’s most iconic shows.Since 2017, he has hosted his own radio show on RTÉ Radio One and currently presents the News at One.Bryan announced his retirement in January.

In 1991 he became presenter of RTÉ One O’Clock News, later moving to present the Nine O’Clock News programme before being appointed anchor of the Six One News in 1996.
