The Munster Senior Hurling Championship final has been delayed due to a power outage in the Thurles area which is impacting Semple Stadium.
The eagerly anticipated contest between Clare and Limerick had been due to throw-in at 4pm, but has been delayed due to the issue. 4.30pm is the new throw-in time for this afternoon's contest which will see Clare take on Limerick for the third Munster final in a row.Read Next: GAA hike All-Ireland final ticket prices for first time in five years
Appearing on RTE to explain the delay, Munster GAA's Dermot Lynch said: "Unfortunately we had a serious power outage in the whole area of Thurles in the last hour and that has obviously effected the stadium in Thurles here as well.
